SIX PROCESSES, ONE ROOF, ONE ENGINEER
Everything below happens in my shop. No brokering, no hand-off to a vendor who has never seen your model, no telephone game between the designer and the person holding the part.
What I actually do.
3D PRINTING
Multi-material, high-speed FDM and resin. Bambu X1C, Qidi X-Max 3 for large format, Photon Mono for fine resin detail. I tune my own machines — I learned this by building open-source printers from parts, so when a print fails I know why.
FDM · RESIN · MULTI-MATERIAL
LASER CUTTING & ENGRAVING
X-Tool F1 Ultra and a large-bed CO₂ system. Acrylic, ply, leather, anodised aluminium, stainless. Fixture plates, panels, badges, and the kind of inlay work that only reads right when the kerf is accounted for in CAD.
CO₂ · FIBRE · DIODE
CNC ROUTING & MACHINING
Signage, engravings, inlays, and functional parts in plastic and aluminium. Toolpaths written against the model, not guessed at the machine.
2.5D · 3D · ENGRAVE
PROTOTYPING
Concept to working article. Most projects run three physical iterations before they are right, and I plan for that from the first sketch instead of pretending the first one will work.
ITERATE · TEST · REVISE
RENDERING & VISUALIZATION
Photo-real SolidWorks Visualize renders before anything is fabricated. Useful for sign-off, for investors, for your listing photos, and for catching the proportion mistake that would otherwise cost you a machining run.
VISUALIZE · HDRI · STUDIO
ELECTRO-MECHANICAL INTEGRATION
Schematics, wiring diagrams, system block diagrams, microcontroller firmware and sensor integration — brought together with the mechanical design instead of bolted on after it.
SCHEMATIC · FIRMWARE · SENSORS
The machines behind the promise.
Bambu Lab X1C
Fast multi-material FDM. The workhorse for functional parts and fit checks.
Qidi X-Max 3
Large-format FDM for parts that will not fit anywhere else.
Anycubic Photon Mono
Resin, for detail that FDM cannot resolve.
X-Tool F1 Ultra
Fibre and diode laser. Marks metal, cuts the rest.
Revopoint Metro-X
Structured-light 3D scanning. Reverse-engineer the part you cannot get a drawing for.
SolidWorks 2026
Modelling, sheet metal, assemblies, and Visualize rendering.
Not sure which process you need?
Send me the problem, not the spec. Half the time the right answer is a different process than the one you came in asking for, and that conversation is free.
